Grace Clore, age 78, Inverness, died September 18, 2013 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Grace was born on January 14, 1935 in Ellijay, GA to the late Henry and Ollie (Cochran) Johnson. She was a cafeteria worker for the Pasco County school system. Grace enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts and was active in ministries and enjoyed her church family and fellowship at Cornerstone Baptist Church. She started the group “Crafty Ladies.” Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 62 years, Earl C. Clore, Inverness; her son David Earl Clore (Christine), San Antonio, TX; daughter Sharon Bailey (Bill), Brooksville, FL; two brothers Bill Johnson (Lanelle), Pine Bluff, AK, James Johnson (Mildred), GA; sister Betty Stewart (Kenneth), Ducktown, TN, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Mack Johnson and Jerry Johnson. A tribute to Grace’s life will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 12:30 PM at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will receive friends in visitation on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 2-4 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. Memorial donations in Grace’s memory are requested to the charity of your choice or Cornerstone Baptist Church (Share The Vision) in lieu of flowers.
