Betty J. Byers-Taylor, age 76, Floral City, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at her residence. She was born on February 22, 1937 in Olney, Maryland to the late Gordon E. and Elizabeth (Meyers) Ridgely. Betty was a homemaker, and arrived in this area twenty years ago from Mansfield, Ohio. She enjoyed dancing and reading. Survivors include her loving husband James Taylor, Sr. of Floral City; one son, Steve (Tonya) Frazee of Ohio; two daughters, Carolyn and Hope; one step-son, James E. Taylor, Jr of Ohio; four stepdaughters, Paula, Sherry, Susan and Nancy; one sister, Carol; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
