Hedwig M. Simon

HEDWIG MARGARET SIMON, age 76, Inverness, died June 26, 2013 surrounded by her family at Citrus Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 4, 1936 in Germany. Hedwig was a homemaker and a devout Catholic; she was a totally giving and selfless person and a devoted wife and mother. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ronald W. Simon Jr. (Catherine), Shirley, NY, Lawrence Simon (Brigitte), Carol Simon and Yvonne Simon, all of Inverness; sisters Maria Simon, Ingrid Grote and Margaret; a cousin Crista. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Ronald W. Simon, Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will receive friends in visitation from 4-6 PM on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
