WILLIAM D. WALKER, age 66, Inverness, died May 27, 2012 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. William was born on February 18, 1947 in Plant City, Florida to the late David and Beatrice (Sewox) Walker. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps, retiring with the rank of Sgt. He loved fishing, watching baseball and was an avid NASCAR fan. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 8 years, Carmen Walker; son David Walker, Cleveland, TN and daughter Kimberly Walker, Winter Haven, FL; stepchildren Abraham (Sandra) Santiago, Parkland, FL, Alfred (Maria) Santiago, Orlando, Yvonne Santiago, Bethlehem, PA and Lorry Santana, Miami; sisters Pattie (Jerry) Dixon, Lakeland, FL and Sandra (Col. Thomas- US Army, Retired) Damron, Arcadia, FL; three grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends in visitation on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 12:30 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Military honors will follow at 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
