Charles W Harris

CHARLES WILLIAM HARRIS, II, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013. He was 52 years old. He leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Kerri Harris, his son Dakota Harris and daughter, Kelly Harris of Hernando, FL; sons Charles Elliott, his wife and two grandchildren and Jeffrey Elliott and two grandchildren, all of Grand Rapids, MI. Chuck was a hard worker, having worked 14 years at Van’s Trucking in Michigan as a driver. He and the family moved to Florida in 2003. From 2003 until 2010 Chuck worked maintenance at Black Diamond Golf Course. He made many new friends in Florida. Some of Chuck’s favorite things to do were golfing, camping at Petoskey State Park in Michigan and hunting. Chuck enjoyed sitting outside in his yard talking to Kerri and watching wildlife. His presence will be sadly missed by his wife, children, family and friends. May God bless and keep him. A memorial service will be announced at a later date at the Harris home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Citrus County, the American Cancer Society or to the family to offset funeral costs. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
