Sophia A Dickel

SOPHIA “SOPH” ANNA DICKEL, age 93, formerly of Floral City, died May 10, 2013 at Woodland Terrace in Deland. Sophia was born on February 5, 1920 in Ridgefield, NJ to the late Francis and Katherine (Soehnlein) Ehmann. She was employed by Durotest in Clifton, NJ as an engineering technician for the manufacturing of light bulbs for over 30 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge of Inverness and a member of SHARE Club at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Sophia was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Henry G. Dickel in 2006. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Henry George Dickel and his wife Nanette, Pierson, FL and their son, Keith E. Dickel and his wife Jennifer, Paisley, FL. A celebration of life tribute to Sophia will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Friends are invited to join the procession to the cemetery at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home at 1:15 PM.
