CARL THOMAS KOZA, age 66, Inverness, died April 20, 2013 at Oak Hill Hospital in Springhill. Carl was born on December 23, 1946 in Akron, OH to the late Carl W. and Elizabeth (Anger) Koza. He served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Carl worked in the maintenance department at Kent State University for 30 years. He was an avid Buckeye and Brown\’s fan. Carl enjoyed boating and fishing; he was an excellent chef who had a beautiful garden every year and also enjoyed working in the field of carpentry. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 28 years, Dianna Koza; step-son Daniel Clapp, Truth or Consequences, NM; step-daughter Angela Meyer, Dallas, GA; his brother Gary (Jane) Koza, Cuyahoga Falls, OH and sisters Judy Nichols, Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Janet (Todd) Dean, Canton, OH and grandchildren Ashley and Zackery Clapp, both of whom resided with him and Bradley Clapp. A celebration of life tribute will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church of Inverness with Pastor Tom Beaverson officiating. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. A second celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Ohio.
