Timothy F Humphrey

TIMOTHY F. HUMPHREY, age 71, Groveland, Florida and Washburn, Maine, died April 14, 2013 at Florida Hospital in Orlando. Tim was born on December 29, 1941 in Presque Isle, Maine to the late Fred and Bertha (Barker) Humphrey. He taught English and Writing at Washburn High School for over 30 years. Tim was very involved in the Maine Teachers Association, serving in the office of President for four years and also as secretary and treasurer. He was active in the National Education Association as well. After his retirement from teaching, he went on to serve on the Washburn School District School Board. He was Methodist by faith. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 41 years, Jane Humphrey; sisters Jolita Churchill, Winder, GA and Nanalee Buckingham and her husband Graydon, Washburn, ME. He was preceded in death by his only brohter, Keith Humphrey. A celebration of life memorial service will be announced at a later date. Chas. E.
