Joan M. Grudier, age 75, Coshocton, OH and Webster, FL, died April 9, 2013 under Hospice of Citrus County care. Joan was born on August 6, 1937 in Canton, OH to the late John and Violet (Finley) Farrar.
She enjoyed her work as a supermarket cashier at Kroeger’s for over 23 years and Roycecraft Baskets for 15 years. She then worked at Roscoe General Store. Joan worshiped at New Bethel Ministries in Coshocton in Ohio and First Baptist Church of Webster in Florida. A loving wife and mother, Joan liked sewing and craft work; playing Bingo and taking care of her long-haired Dachshund, Bosco.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 57 years, Russell Grudier; her daughter Carole Lynn and husband Mike Jennings, Coshocton, OH; sons Russell F. Grudier, III and his wife Lita, Warsaw, OH, David A. Grudier and his wife Christy, Coshocton, OH; brothers Robert, Kenneth and John Farrar and sisters Janet Murray and Marian Gibson; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Larry and Jim.
Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is in charge of private arrangements.
