Nilda Rodriguez

NILDA RODRIGUEZ, age 79, Inverness, died April 7, 2013 at Arbor Trail Rehab and Nursing Center. Nilda was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Manuel and Susanna (Carrion) Rodriguez. She was a loving mother and homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and sewing. She also liked watching soap operas. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Edwin Torres, sons Edwin Muniz, Carlos Mercado; daughters Edna Muniz, Carmen Muniz, Judy Mercado, Luisa Mercado; sisters Carmen Rivera, Noelia Rodriguez; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Pedro Mercado and a daughter Nellie Mercado. A Funeral Tribute to Nilda will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will receive friends in visitation from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service.
