Susan D Godard-Davenport

Susan Diane Godard-Davenport, 67, of Beverly Hills, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Hospice of Citrus County in Inverness, Florida. She was born in Irvington, New Jersey on August 6, 1945. Preceded in death by her mother Mildred Godard-Contaldi and her step-father Mario Contaldi. Susan was a homemaker and a Baptist, and arrived in this area in 2000, coming from Alpharetta, Georgia. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Robert W. Davenport; one sister, Barbara Darke of Rhode Island; and one step-sister, Judy Schuler of Georgia; a nephew and his wife Richard and Ann Darke, niece Karen Darke and her son Justin of Rhode Island and niece Kathy and her husband Joe Justinger of New York. Susan will be remembered as a lady who was honest, gentle, giving, and someone who loved with all of her heart. At Susan’s request, donations in her memory may be made to either Hospice of Citrus County, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, Florida, 34464, or to the American Cancer Society. Private arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida.
