John Francis Locascio, 55, of Inverness, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 under the care of Hospice of Citrus County, Inverness. He was born on July 30, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Joseph and Velia (Grazen) Locascio, Sr. John was a Porter for T.W.A. Truck Stop in Michigan, and arrived in this area in 2008; coming from Munroe, Michigan. He was a Catholic by faith, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include one son, John F. Locascio, Jr. of Schenectady, New York; one daughter, Angelina Locascio of Harvey, Louisiana; one brother, Joseph Locascio of Inverness; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Luke and Peter Locascio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in John’s name to Hospice of Citrus County, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, Florida 34464.
Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
