HARRISON ROGERS, age 61, Inverness, died March 5, 2013 at his residence, under the loving care of his family and HPH Hospice. Harrison was born on December 4, 1951 in Baker County, GA to the late Lester Whipset and Rosabell Rogers.

He was employed as a cook at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Harrison was a loving family man, a humanitarian who received the award of Employee of the Year for Citrus Memorial Hospital in 2002 as well as the “Every Day Heroes” Award in May 2002 from the Tampa Bay Television Station. He was a member of Proceeding Word Ministry.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Rose Mary, sons Lawrence (Shemaine) Rogers, Jonathan (Heather) Rogers and Jeremy J. (Diane) Rogers, all of Inverness; twin brothers Pete (Patricia) and Paul (Shirley) Rogers, George (Mary Ann) Rogers and William Rogers; sisters Dora Lee Rogers and Cindy Miller; four grandchildren Rosemary, Savannah, Jeremy, Jr. and Devin.

Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
