DOLORES “DUNKIE” ANN AGEN, 78, Inverness, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her home on Gospel Island under the care of her loving family and HPH Hospice. She was born in Jefferson County, Wisconsin to the late Edward J. and Grace C. (Frye) Janney on April 8, 1934.

The family moved to Dunedin, Florida from Wisconsin in 1951 and she soon married her high school sweetheart, Phillip L. Agen, her husband of 55 years, who has preceded her in death on March 7, 2007. The Agen’s moved to Inverness in 1986 and owned and operated their business, “All About Windows” for about 10 years. She was a seamstress by trade.

Dolores is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hope D. Darling and her brother, John E. Janney. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Dalinda (husband, Burt) Beem, Inverness, Deborah Head, Inverness and son, Edward (wife, Marcy Dubois) Agen, Inverness; grandsons, Larry R. (fiancee, Valerie Gabriel) Darling, Inverness, Tyson (wife, Shellee) Taylor, West Union, SC, Adam (wife, Faith) Taylor, Inverness, Justin (wife, Shannon) Taylor, Inverness, Cody Agen, Inverness, granddaughter, Elysha Agen, Largo, Florida; sisters, Darlene Douglas, Jacksonville, FL and Judy Gerwe, Holiday, FL. Dolores was also blessed with 10 great-grandchildren.

Dolores liked to garden, play cards and be with her family. She was a member of the Methodist Church. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Donations to honor her memory would be appreciated to Alzheimer’s Association or HPH Hospice.
