Mary Jo McClellan, 65, of Floral City, Florida passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at HPH Hospice in Lecanto. She was born on March 25, 1947 in Canton, Georgia to the late Russell and Grace (Curtis) Haley. Mary was a teacher, and arrived in this area in 1971, coming from Tampa, Florida. She enjoyed gardening, crochet, and loved listening to Elton John and David Bowie, Mary was a member of Calvary Chapel in Inverness, and the Withlapopka Civic Association. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Art McClellan, and one brother, Jimmy Haley. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Lee McClellan of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Eric Robert McClellan of Floral City, Florida; one brother, Terry Haley, and one grandchild, Kierra. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, February 22, 3:00 pm, at Calvary Chapel, Inverness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. Cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida.
