Gordon M. Ryder

Gordon M. Ryder, 83, of Inverness, Florida passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Hospice of Citrus County in Inverness. He was born on July 7, 1929 in Brooklyn New York to the late Gordon W. and Gladys E. Ryder. Gordon was a US Army/Air Force veteran of WWII, and an accountant in the dry cleaning business. He arrived in this area in 2006, coming from Homestead, Florida and enjoyed flying planes and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-five years, Joan M. Ryder. Survivors include one son Gordon P. (Susie) Ryder of Naples, Florida; one daughter, Debbie (Steve) Cannon of Citrus Springs, Florida; two brothers, Rick and Ronnie Ryder; one sister, Joan; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
