John G Salakas

John G. Salakas, 77, of Hernando, FL went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2012. John was born and lived in Ambridge, PA until 1998. After his marriage to Sheryl Neely Andrews in May 1998, he moved to Pleasant Hills, PA and finally to Florida in 2002. He enjoyed a long career as a school psychologist and spent many enjoyable years participating in the radio-controlled airplane hobby. He was pre-deceased by his parents George and Despina Salakas. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl and stepsons Mark (Ann) Andrews and Alex Andrews, both of Pittsburgh, PA. A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, Inverness, FL. A private burial will occur at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First Presbyterian Church, Inverness, FL. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL is in charge of arrangements.
