Ben H Cowart Jr

Ben H. Cowart, Jr. age 86, Homosassa died March 7, 2012 at Cypress Cove Care Center in Crystal River. Ben was born on September 24, 1925 in Atlanta, GA to the late Ben H. Sr. and Ada Ramey Cowart. He served our country in the United States Navy. Ben was employed by Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company as a warehouseman. He was active in the Beverly Hills Horseshoe Club and enjoyed bowling. Survivors include his son, Michael B. (Melanie) Cowart, Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren Justin and Tammy, 2 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy (Dorothy) Cowart, Sumter, S.C. and Fred M. Cowart, Covington, GA, as well as dear friend Mary Stoltman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine in 1974. Inurnment will be privately at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, GA.
