Wilbert “Will” Edward Keller, age 91, Floral City, passed away on September 23, 2015 under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. Will was born on April 8, 1924 in New Bedford, PA to the late Edward and Bessie Keller. He served our country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. During his tours of duty, in WWII, he served in the Asian Theatre, in the C.B.I. (China, Burma and India,) flying transport over the “Hump” (The Himalayan Mountains.) After his retirement from the military, he worked as an inspector analyst in a steel mill. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing in his earlier years. Will is survived by his sons, Scott Keller and his wife Susan, Virginia Beach, VA, Terry Keller, Campbell, OH; his daughter Debbie Keller-Cahill and her husband Steve, Grove City, OH; his brother Derald Keller; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Violet, his sister Velma Parris and one grandchild. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hospice of Citrus and Nature Coast for the wonderful care they provided Will as well as his dear friends Tom and Sharon, both of whom helped him tremendously in his final days.
