THERESA A. “ACE” GRIFFIN, age 56 of Inverness, died August 11, 2015 surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Theresa was born February 17, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia to Patsy (Wilbanks) Dilbert and the late Bobby Gene Griffin. She moved to Florida in 1964 with her family and to Inverness in 1966. Theresa was employed as a waitress throughout her life. She could light up a room with her gorgeous smile and truly made an impression on everyone she met. Theresa was a wonderful singer and loved karoake. She also loved to dance and spent many hours dancing with her grandson in the living room. Left to treasure Theresa’s precious memory are her loving mother, Patsy Dilbert, Inverness, Florida; 3 cherished daughters, Heather Nicole Murray, St. Petersburg, FL; Caitlin Alyse Nicholson (Tony), Floral City, FL; and Brianna Leah Foulkrod, Hernando, Florida. She also leaves behind 2 brothers, Bobby Eugene Griffin Jr. (Paula), Toccoa, Georgia; and Tony Dee Griffin, Inverness, Florida as well as 2 precious grandchildren, James Gregory Daniel Weber; and Ava Nicholson. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
