Susan Jane Tiller, of Lecanto, passed away peacefully under the care of HPH Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was 74. Susan was born in Sioux City, Iowa to Richard and Marguerite (Ryan) Tiller and was one of nine children.
She eventually moved out to California, where she worked her way up to Vice President of Accounting and Payroll in banking, after earning her accounting degree. She later moved to Florida in 2011 to be with her sister, Peggy. They lived together and were the best of friends.
Those left to cherish Susan’s memory are her devoted son, David Martin of California; her sister, Peggy Tiller of Lecanto; her brothers, Denny Tiller of Louisiana and Tom Tiller of Ohio; two grandchildren, Matthew and Emily; and other family members. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care, Inverness.
