Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On

Michael E. Felsentreger

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we say goodbye to Michael Edward Felsentreger, who passed away at the age of 65 under the care of HPH Hospice in Lecanto on Monday, February 24, 2025. Mike made the move to Florida from Granby, Massachusetts in 1978, shortly after his parents retired to Citrus County.

Mike had a true zest for life. Whether he was out fishing, cruising on a Harley, or sneaking sugar to his grandkids, Mike knew how to enjoy the simple pleasures. His years as a CNA in Citrus County were a testament to his caring nature—he had a genuine passion for helping others and would make time for anyone who needed him.

Mike was a bit of a prankster, could people-watch for hours, and would be the first to jump up at a last minute, unexpected adventure. He had a special fondness for fireworks, always finding any excuse to watch them light up the sky.

People thought him to be the life of the party, and will forever be remembered by those that knew him.

He is survived by his daughters Jessica Jorgensen (Jesse) of Spring Hill, Ashlee Felsentreger of Wildwood, and Kayla Felsentreger of Citrus Springs, as well as his 10 grandchildren who will continue to carry on his memory. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Edward and Marjorie Louise (Cull) Felsentreger.

Cremation with Care Arrangements from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
