Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On
Dolores L Hatfield

Dolores L Hatfield

Dolores (Brewer) Hatfield was a beloved wife, sister, mom, aunt, grandma, great grandma, teacher, mentor, counselor, and friend. She was a woman of great faith in Jesus Christ. She was loved so dearly by so many, and so many depended on her. She was friendly, witty, and smart, with an unfailing memory for details, and she always knew everyone’s name, birthday, and special events over the years. She was especially good with children, who treasured their times with “granna.”
Dolores is survived by her husband of nearly 59 years (married Feb.13, 1965), David. Her sons Jim (J.D.) & his wife Margie, Chris, and Tony. Her grandchildren Mandi, Devin, and Melody, and great grandchildren Ian, Erin, Vera, and Olive. Not to mention so large a number of extended family – she was a grand aunt to all her nieces and nephew’s children. And she was a mother to her boy’s friends from school. The Hatfield house was the place to gather and have fun, and to hear stories, and feel loved.
She was part of a large family tree of siblings. Brothers Ray and Chief, sisters Mary and Penny have passed. Surviving are Jack, Jesse, Linda, Rita, Kathy, Nita, Paula, Charlotte, Sharon, Keith Williams, and Billy Brewer.
When someone has no enemies, and is so well loved by such a huge number of people, it is too much for words to convey her role in our lives.
She was a little lady with a huge heart that loved big. The likes of her are rarely seen in this world. Let’s remember her always.
