Everett Lee Viers, age 94 of Inverness, Fl passed away on June 23, 2023 at his home under the loving care of his family.
Everett was born in Belmont, KY on December 16, 1928 to the late Joseph and Beulah (Cundiff) Viers and came to Inverness 8 years ago from Louisville, KY. He retired from Louisville Gas & Electric Company as a supervisor with over 30 years of service and served our nation in both the U.S. Navy and Air Force.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 68 years, Shirley Ann (Fox) Viers;
3 sons: Charles Viers of Jersey City, NJ, Mark Viers and his wife Debra of Inverness, FL, and Joseph Viers and his wife Cheryl of Louisville, KY. He also is survived by his 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Samuel Viers.
Military Graveside Honors will be conducted at Florida National Cemetery on July 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM with V.F.W. Post 4337 officiating. Everett’s urn will be laid to rest in the Florida National Cemetery’s Columbarium
