Dallis Delano Invester, 84 of Hernando, passed away June 22, 2023 at Superior Residences in Lecanto. Dallis was born on November 17, 1938 to the late Burres and Eloise (Peterson) Ivester. He was born in St. Cloud, Florida and came to Citrus County in 1996 from there. He served his country in the US Army and a member of the Cowboy Church. Dallis owned and operated his landscaping and nursery business.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Ruth Ivester; his daughters: Brenda Ivester of Orlando, FL, Tammy Mullins of Fairborn, OH; his sister Edith Antine of Port St. Lucie, FL; his grandchildren: Latisha Johnson, Jason Mullins and Edward Mullins; and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Ivester.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be conducted on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell, FL. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness.
