Paul John Hoffmon, 84 years, passed away July 29, 2022 under the care of Bayonet Point Hospital, Hudson, FL. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Irvin Hoffmon and Ethel Clinton. Paul married Felicia Steffen in 1978.
Paul was raised in Chicago and moved to Citrus County in 1990. Before coming to Citrus County he resided in Madeira Beach FL. He retired from the Seminole Fire Rescue Department in 1983 holding the rank of Fire Chief. He was very active with the fire department, attending all of the necessary fire schools enabling him to have the knowledge he needed to lead the fire company. He was an avid NASCAR Fan and could fix just about anything. He was known by family and friends as Mr. Fix It. From 1985 through 1995, he worked with his family helping with concessions at Fairs and Festivals, all along the east coast. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Felicia Steffen Hoffmon; and children: Paul Hoffmon (Mercedes), Kim Diller, Debrah Steffen Rowland, Deanna Renee Harrison (Gary Russell); grandchildren: Estevan Hoffmon, Damon Rowland (Alice), David Rowland (Devon), Donovan Rowland (Tess), and Danielle Rowland; great grandchildren: Baxter Rowland and Louise Rowland; also survived by former son-in-law Denis Rowland.
Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Freeport, IL., through the Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. Florida arrangements under the direction of Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness.
