Carol B. Spector, 80 years of Lecanto, passed away July 29, 2022 under the loving care of HPH Hospice in Lecanto. She was born October 7, 1941 in Utica, NY to the late Irving Brooks and Anne Eisenberg. Carol has been a resident of Florida since 1974, when she and her husband Bob moved from Rochester, NY.
Carol was a special education teacher and was very passionate about her students. She was employed by Pace School in Leesburg, retiring in the 1990’s.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and dog owner. Another one of her passions was training and showing Show Dogs. She and her husband trained many dogs throughout the years. Carol also loved to read.
She was predeceased by her parents; Irving and Anne Brooks, her husband, Robert Jerome “Bob” Spector, and her son, Joel Spector.
Left to cherish Carol’s memory are her daughter; Melinda Spector and 3 grandchildren; Isaac Spector, Britney Spector and Jack Erwin. Carol’s family plan to have a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at their home at a later date. Cremation care under the direction of Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
