William Norman Strait, 85, passed away July 26, 2022, under the care of Citrus Memorial Hospital. He was born in Watrous, PA, April 20, 1937 to the late Raymond Strait and Lillian Guild. He is predeceased by his sister Patty Strait, brother Roger Strait and nephews, Clinton and Kent Strait.
William proudly served his country in the US Army from 1955-1961. He was employed as a truck driver, worked in the oil fields of Texas and has been a resident of Citrus County since May 1999.
He is survived by his nieces Julienna Thrall and Katrina Dolan and his brother Milton Strait.
Full military honors were bestowed to William, Saturday August 13, 2022 at 11:00am. Visitation 10:00 till 11:00 at Chas E. Davis Funeral Home 3075 S. Florida Ave, Inverness.
