Rosemary Farrar, 84 years, of Dunnellon, passed away peacefully under the care of Vitas Hospice, Lecanto, FL. She was born in Indianapolis, IN, March 21, 1938 to the late Floyd Marlinee and Pauline Hagemmier
Rosemary moved to Citrus County in 1985, formerly of Indianapolis. She was employed by ReMax Realtors in Inverness and Lecanto for several years. Previously she worked in hospitality in the food service, serving as a hostess, bartender, and waitress. She enjoyed knitting and sewing, yard sales, and gardening. She also volunteered at the Hospice Thrift Store in Inverness. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Predeceased by her parents; Floyd and Pauline Marlinee, her husband of 20 years; Charles A. Farrar, her son; James Tewell, daughters Rosemary “Candy” Knoppkie and Carol Ann Tewell, and her siblings; Polly Harner, Katie Akin, Emily Allen, Nancy Tewell and Frederick Lloyd Marlinee.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; William “Buster” Tewell (Stephanie), Russell Tewell, Sandra Adams, Joseph Tewell, Jeffrey Tewell, (Latricia), Andrew Barker (Tammy), Tina Sanders (Randall), Penny Elmore (Howard) and step children; David Farrar (Locia), Kerry Farrar and Kathy Lynn Winters (Steve), and, her sister; Susie Babineaux, and her daughter in law; Michele Tewell, also survived by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled Saturday 3:00pm September 17, 2022, at Chas E. Davis Funeral Home 3075 S. Florida Ave Inverness. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00pm. Pastor Stan Stewart of North Oak Baptist Church will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, Rosemary’s family has asked for donations to Vitas Hospice PO Box 1330 Lecanto, FL 34460.
