Bobbie E Johnson

Bobbie Earl Johnson, 85, of Hernando, FL passed away May 24, 2022 at New Horizon Assisted Living Residence in Inverness. He was born in Center Hill, FL on October 18, 1936 to the late Earl and Mabel (Hooten) Johnson. Bobbie was a service technician for Sprint and United Telephone and served our country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp. He arrived in this area in 1978, coming from Tampa, FL. Bobbie loved fishing, enjoyed woodworking, growing his hot peppers and was an excellent barbecue cook. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Johnson, one daughter, Roberta Sanford and one brother Raymond Johnson. Survivors include daughters Pamela Ferrara and her husband Joseph of Ft. Myers, FL, and Donna Maggio and her husband Clint of Tampa, FL; sister Kay Blume of Crawfordville, FL; grandchildren Shawn, Matthew, Marisa, Sophia, and Bianca; great grandchildren Ashtyn, Ambrye, Briley, Nina, and Kieran , aunt Betty Rozar, sisters in law Connie Johnson and Edna Ayers, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life for Bobbie will be held at Church at the Cross, 257 N.E. 9th Street, Crystal River, FL on Sunday, June 5th at 12:30 pm followed by a lunch. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
