Louise C. Aneiro from Crystal River, Florida, departed this world for Heaven on May 5, 2022, at HPH Hospice in Lecanto, Florida. Louise was born on November 18, 1940, to Ruth Elizabeth Mosley and William Dickinson in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Louise was the wife of the late Edward Aneiro. The couple began their first little restaurant in northern New York. In the early 1980’s, Louise and Ed moved to Florida, first residing in the Keys, then making their way north to Citrus County, Florida, where they lived the remainder of their lives.
Louise worked for the St. Petersburg Times for several years until the opening of a second restaurant named the “Rusty Duck”, located in Lecanto. Louise was a talented, self-taught chef who took great pride in the quality and presentation of her delicious meals, cooked to order from scratch. She was adventurous with her cooking, creating dishes she knew would excite the palates of her guests, and would name the dish after them! Louise incorporated many tastes from other countries on her seemingly endless menu that was augmented with a daily special board, offering another six or more items! Everything she cooked was delicious; her 32 ounce prime rib, her lobster bisque and secret pink bleu cheese dressing, were a few on the the well known tastes of the “Rusty Duck”! Louise sold the restaurant in 2016 after 27 years of service. She was pleased that it’s thriving with new ownership under the name of “Katch Twenty Two”!
Louise was also adventurous in travel. She loved to drive and go anywhere. She and her late husband traveled all over the United States in their motor home, as well as visiting several countries in Europe.
Louise leaves two loving children: James Andrews and his wife Ann Hitt of Crestline, California; and a daughter, Tammy Kfoury of Pelham, NH; five beloved grandchildren: Tess and Vivi Hitt of Crestline, CA; Phillip Prescott and wife Lynn, of Hudson, New Hampshire; Nikolas Kfoury of Goffstown, New Hampshire; and Alexandra Kfoury of Pelham, New Hampshire. Louise also was blessed with two great grandsons, Armand and Samuel Prescott of Hudson, NH. Louise was predeceased in death by her loving husband, Ed and her brother Walter Carr from Dracut, Massachusetts. She is survived by her beloved sister, Donna and husband Dennis Keefe of Dracut Massachusetts; and a brother, William C. Dickinson and wife Julia, of Winter Springs, Florida.
Our family would also like to acknowledge, Louise’s beloved cousins, Nancy Adams, Doris Mosley, and Fredrick Mosley, as well as the family of her late husband, the Aneiros. Lastly, Louise has left many, many friends. Numerous restaurant guests became her good friends. She made it a practice to go into the dining room each evening to greet people. Also, Louise was incredibly blessed with several friends from an ongoing bible study group for over 20 years, in addition to many special employees, who remained close after the sale of the restaurant. During her illness, she always had friends visiting and letting her know she was loved & also the special care by the HPH staff. Louise’s children do not live in Florida, and would like to thank each and every friend that allowed us the gift of knowing our Mom was not alone. This meant so much to us when we were not able to be there. Your kindness and love will never be forgotten! God bless you all!
