Marie Theresa Doran, 88, of Inverness, FL, passed away September 8, 2021 at Highland Place in Inverness. Marie was born in Astoria, NY on March 10, 1933, to the late Nicholas and Theresa (Carlucci) Casamisina. Marie retired after 15 years as a clerk with the US Postal Service in Long Island, NY and she came to Citrus County in 1994. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, and the Italian American Club.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Frances Jaworski and her husband, Jim of Inverness, Theresa Finnegan and her husband Robert, of Northport, NY; her grandchildren: Genevieve Finnegan of Northport, NY and Nicholas Jaworski and his wife Elizabeth of Inverness; and great grandson, Isaac Jaworski.
Funeral services for Marie will be conducted on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 12:30 PM, at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, with Fr. Tim Cummings, officiating. Entombment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens in Beverly Hills. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 AM until service time.
