Tommy G. Breedlove, age 54, Inverness, FL passed away suddenly September 4, 2021 in Citrus Memorial Hospital. Tommy was born in Paulding, OH on July 25, 1967 to the late Gaylord and Ruth (Simpson) Breedlove and moved to Floral City from Brooksville, then to Inverness.
He was a Detective for the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, beginning his career there in 1998. A strong man of God, he was a faithful and active member of the Eden Baptist Church in Hernando County.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Breena (Bunton) Breedlove; 7 children: Andrew Breedlove, Hannah Breedlove, Trevor Breedlove, Kadden Denny, Ryan Breedlove, Kaiden Breedlove, and Wyatt Breedlove; brother, Ronnie Breedlove; and sister, Bonnie Weller.
There is a Celebration of Life scheduled for Tommy on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1100 W. Highland Blvd., Inverness, FL with Pastors Zeb Bishop and Demont Drake officiating. Burial with Law Enforcement Honors will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at the church from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. The service will be live streamed at: Atthecorner.church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Inverness Christian Academy’s Brain Bowl Teams or your local library.
