Joseph Shulk, 83, of Homosassa, FL, passed away August 28, 2021 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Joseph was born on November 12, 1937 in Joliet, Illinois, to the late Joseph G. and Helen (Slockerman) Shulk.
He was a foreman for a box manufacturing company for over 40 years and a member of the US National Guard. On April 10, 1957 he married Sharon Vade Boncoeur Shulk, and came to Citrus County in 2001 from Joilet. Joseph enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and swimming.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 64 years, Sharon Shulk; his son Ricky Shulk and his wife Barbara of Grand Ridge, IL; 2 brothers: William Shulk and his wife Patricia, of Siesta Key, FL and Donald Shulk and his wife Cindy, of Sarasota, FL; and his five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Joseph was preceded in death by a brother Robert Shulk, in addition to his parents.
Following cremation, Joseph’s urn will be interred at the Fountains Memorial Park in Homosassa. Private cremation with care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness
