Georgia Kel Eye of Dunnellon, FL passed away while under the loving care of her family and Cate’s House Hospice in Ocala on July 12, 2021 at the age of 63. She was born to the late Paige and Hannah (Phelps) Creech on April 15, 1958 in Richmond, VA. She made Florida her home in 1983 after relocating from Illinois with her young family.
Kel lived her life in the service of caring for others. She was known for giving her time and energy to those who needed it the most. Her love for her family was felt through time spent walking hiking trails, enjoying the serenity of nature and through her many artistic creations. Kel’s sense of humor, love for her family and her dedication to her community will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
Those left to mourn Kel’s passing include her son: Dalan Eye; daughters: Saundra Jarrett and Deanna Miller; brothers: Kurt Creech and the late “Bubba” Creech; sister: Janda Wilson; and 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Kel decided to donate her body to science and will be transferred to the University of Florida in Gainesville for anatomical donation. Her selfless gift and act of kindness will help train and further the education of future physicians and healthcare professionals.
Local arrangements under the care of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Hospice of Marion County.
