David Eaton Cagwin, 64, of Inverness, FL passed away at his home on July 2nd, 2021 under the care of hospice and surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 6th, 1956 in Buffalo, NY to the late Ward and Betty Pierce Cagwin. He was an Electrician for many years and made Citrus County his home, along with his family, in 1982 when they moved from Pinellas County, FL.
David will be remembered for being a loving husband and father, he spent many evenings and weekends at the soccer field with his kids. Always willing to help family and friends with jobs big and small. He also built his own house, with the help of his family and friends, who he loved dearly.
Those left to cherish David’s memory are his wife of 39 years, Debra; his two children, CJ and Erin Cagwin of Inverness, FL; his two brothers, Jay (Sharon) and Terry (Carol) Cagwin both of Largo, FL; his sister, Martha (Don) Wilson of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends.
A gathering of family and friends for a time of fellowship and remembrance will begin at 3 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
