Pauline Estella McKenzie of Floral City, FL passed away at her home on June 29, 2021 at the age of 102. She was born to the late Charles and Gladys (Primm) Taylor on December 1, 1918 in Phillipsburg, KS. Pauline moved to Florida 4 ½ years ago after relocating with her daughter to be closer to family. She was a Catholic by faith and a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville, KS. Having lived through the depression era, Pauline became a very resourceful woman. She was an experienced farmer, an avid gardener and a talented seamstress. She could also construct and build anything. Pauline was also extremely creative. She enjoyed writing and even sold some of the articles she had written.
Those left to mourn Pauline’s passing include her daughter, Linda Lee of Floral City, FL. She is also survived by a great many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandbabies. They were truly the loves of her life. Sadly, Pauline was preceded in death by 3 of her children, two sons, Chesley and Thomas McKenzie and one daughter, Sharon Keathley.
Following cremation, Pauline will be laid to rest with her family in Coffeyville, KS. Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
