Jeffrey Duncan Hudson of Citrus Springs, FL passed away at his home on December 26, 2020 at the age of 68. Jeffrey was born to the late Arlington Mayes and Elsie Dove (Eichhorst) Hudson in St. Louis, MO on February 4, 1952. On July 3, 1988 he married his loving wife Donna (Hassler) with whom he shared 32 years of loving marriage. Jeffrey was a 1974 graduate of Indiana University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry. He went on to become a professional landscape designer and gardening was his passion. Jeffrey loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, fishing and canoeing.
In addition to his wife Donna, those left to mourn Jeffrey’s passing include his sons: Zachary Hudson (Carrie) of Bloomington, IN, Matthew Daggy (Gelly) of Homosassa, FL, John Michael Hudson (Paola) of Washington, DC, Elijah Daggy (Alejandra) of Tarpon Springs, FL; daughter, Emily Rose Michael (Peter) of Tarpon Springs, FL; brothers: Jerome Hudson (Darlene) of Bloomfield, IN, Jonathan Hudson (Marlaine) of Ammon, ID, Jameson Hudson (Donna) of Pagosa Springs, CO, Jackson Hudson (Jennifer) of Ingram, TX, Joseph Hudson (Cecilia) of Arvada, CO; twin sister, Jennifer Lynn of Binghamton, NY; sister, Jeanna Hudson of Coral Springs, FL; 11 grandchildren: Henzly, Hazel, Luke, Ayanna, Angelia, Sakellarios, Sofie, Apollo, Luca, Leland, Calvin;
; and his former wife and family friend, Susan Hicks of Bloomington, IN.
Jeffrey’s family is planning a memorial service at a later date, possibly in April of 2021 so they can celebrate and remember his wonderful life. Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL
