Yasmin Amor S. “Jaz” Brice, 38y/o of Oxford, FL., experienced cardiac arrest after a long battle with cervical cancer, at her home and was presumed deceased at The Villages Regional Hospital. Yasmin was born in Laguna, Philippines, on April 17, 1982, to Wilson Sycaoyao and Delia Arce-Sycaoyao. She came to Florida to join her husband in 2008 from the Philippines, and was a customer service representative for Publix Supermarkets, a Manager at Panda Express, and a member of the Live Oaks Community Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 14 years, Gregory H. Brice; their son Mark W. Sycaoyao; their daughters: Mei Barbie Lyn S. Brice, Mei Athena Jean S. Brice, Mei Charlene Lee S. Brice all from Oxford, Fl.; her brothers: Glen Mark A. Sycaoyao, Kristopher Dennis A. Sycaoyao; her sisters: Ariane Joy A. Sycaoyao, Diane Hazel S. Ong; her mother Delia A. Sycaoyao; She was also preceded in passing by her father, Wilson Sycaoyao.
Yasmin is a true believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Over the 38th month battle with cervical cancer she persevered through the many treatments, biopsies, many months of continuous and immeasurable pain with such grace. She did so because she wanted to love and be with her family as long as she could. She is an angel there is no doubt, and we are so blessed to have her in our lives before in the flesh and now in spirit always with us.
A Celebration of Life Service for Yasmin will be held on January 7th, 2021 at 12:00 Noon eastern time, with an 11:00 A.M. visitation, from the Live Oaks Community Church, with Orin Wiseman, Associate Pastor and family friend officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
