Sally Anna Kauer Sullivan, 81 of Floral City, FL loving wife, mother, sister, and Nana went to be with the Lord on December 24th, 2020 peacefully in her sleep.
Born on June 10, 1939 in Middletown, N.Y, Sally is preceded in death by her Mother Evelyn Ellis and Father Gottlieb Kauer. She had two children Fred Hawkins Jr. of Zephyrhills, FL and Allison Kaye Hawkins, of Floral City FL. Two sisters Catherine Underwood (Earl Williams) of Floral City FL and Linda Sholes (Harold) of Floral City, FL. 5 Grandchildren Melissa Lee Sims of Sarasota, FL. Fred Hawkins III of Zephyrhills, FL Chelcie Miller of Zephyrhills FL. Brooke Hawkins of Zephyrhills FL, and Samantha Hall deceased. She had 4 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.
Sally lived a long and fulfilling life. She was a mother before she was anything else. Sally moved to Florida at the age of 10 with her parents and her sisters, she graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa FL where she was a Majorette and went on to become a perfect housewife. Sally enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, pottery, art, and making and collecting teddy bears. She will jokingly be remembered by her family for always washing laundry.
The family wishes to deeply thank the care and compassion that was given to her by Citrus Health and Rehab in Inverness, FL and wants to remind everyone to hug and kiss your loved ones every day because life is fragile and very short.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL with a visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Pastor Paul Giglio of Calvary Chapel of Inverness is officiating. A procession to Hills of Rest Cemetery of Floral City, FL will take place immediately following the services, where Sally will be laid to rest.
