Cottrell L. “Cowboy” Thomason, 89, of Inverness, FL passed away on December 8th, 2020 under the care of HPH hospice in Lecanto, FL. He was born to the late Cottrell L. and Florence (Danison) Thomason on September 22nd, 1931 in West Palm Beach, FL. He was a Crew Chief for Palm Beach County Utilities for 30 years and bravely and honorably served our country as a member of the United States Navy. He and his wife, Dagmar, moved to Citrus County together 9 years ago from North Carolina and made Florida their forever home. Those left to cherish Cottrell’s memory is his wife of 60 years, Dagmar; his daughter Kimberly Perron and her husband, Keith of West Palm Beach, FL; his two grandchildren, Kevin and Kurt Perron; and of course, many cherished friends that he made along the way. Arrangements for Cottrell are private, and Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
