Angelina Theresa Trascoy of Inverness, FL passed away at Citrus Memorial Hospital on December 8, 2020 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, with whom she shared 67 years of loving marriage, just 3 days prior on December 5, 2020. Angelina was born to the late Joseph and Theresa (Crisico) Poniatowski on April 6, 1933 in Queens, NY. She and her husband Robert made Citrus County their home in 1988 after relocating from Elmont, NY. She loved attending the bingo games at Our Lady of Fatima on a weekly basis. Angelina is the former Vice President of the Citrus County Italian American Club, she was also a member of the New York Club of Citrus County and Inverness VFW #4337. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards with her friends but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Those left to mourn Angelina’s passing include her daughter, Tina Digangi and her husband Robert of Weeki Wachee, FL; son, Robert Trascoy and his wife Silvia of Seaford, NY; sisters: Dorothy and Dolores; grandchildren: Robert, Rose-Ann, Frank, Robert and Michael; and great grandchildren: Mila, Gavin, Makayla and Morgan. Angelina also leaves behind many dear friends. She was preceded death by her daughter, Kathleen Gut and her brother, John.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Angelina and her loving husband Robert is scheduled for Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home and will be conducted by Father Tim Cummings of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Friends are invited to join the family in visitation beginning at 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
Angelina will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the St. Charles Cemetery in Long Island New York at a later date.
