Alexandra B. Caceres, Inverness, FL went to be with her Lord and Savior at Vitas Hospice in Lecanto, FL on April 12th, 2020 at the age of 71. She was born to the late Julio Caceres and Maria Bellido Caceres on March 6th, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Florida in 1980 from Long Island, NY and worked as a Hair Dresser, owning and operating her own business, “Designing Woman” in Inverness, for more than 20 years.
Running her business and building personal relationships with all of her clients and their families were her passions. She loved every single one of her clients and their families, even going so far as to attend their weddings, celebrations, and be there with them for every milestone. Alexandra will be remembered for being such a “people-person” and building so many relationships throughout her life. She loved the sea and spending time at the beach. She also enjoyed singing and could frequently be heard singing “Beautiful Boy” by John Lennon to her son and grandson, and it was one of her most favorite lullabies to sing. She loved spending time with her family and was extremely devoted to her church, Our Lady of Fatima. Alexandra was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, best friend and hair dresser. She will be missed by all who got the privilege of meeting her.
Along with her parents, Alexandra was preceded in death by her two brothers, Larry Caceres and Johnnie Caceres and her two sisters, Lillian Blass and Theresa Caceres. She is survived by her beloved son, Chadd B. Malone; her brothers, Julio Caceres, Jr. and Wendell Ceceres; her sisters, Penelope Caceres, Elsie Philips, and Rosita Wright; her grandson, Nolan Malone; and many, many cherished nieces and nephews, including Gerry Nieves, Timothy Philipps, Jeffery Morales, Steven Morales, Johnnie Morales, Dawn Caceres Digange, and Doreen Philipps. Alexandra was loved immensely.
Cremation arrangements have been scheduled for Alexandra in the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness, FL. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled and hosted by her family at a later date.
