Sandra J Darling

Sandra Jean Darling, age 75, of Floral City, FL died June 9, 2016 at her residence while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. Sandra was born on December 28, 1940 in Geneva, IL to the late William and Agnes (Holdorf) Heine. She was married to Jerome Darling for 43 years until his passing on August 23, 2015. In 1994, Sandra made Citrus County her home after relocating from Wisconsin. She was a Catholic by faith. Sandra had been employed as a travel agent which afforded her the opportunity to travel extensively throughout her lifetime. She was a member of the Inverness Country Club and enjoyed playing golf. In her spare time she also enjoyed playing tennis, doing crosswords and puzzle books. Sandra was known to be a doting grandmother to her grandchildren. Those left to mourn her passing are three sons: Paul “PJ” (Patricia) White of Batavia, IL; William Scott (Kelly) Darling of Charlotte, NC; Jay Darling of Vancouver, WA; one daughter: Sharon Darling of San Bernadino, CA; one brother: William Heine; one sister: Alice Ann Friedrich; and four grandchildren. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL is assisting the family with private cremation arrangements.
