Rodney S. Kaufman, 67, Inverness went to his Heavenly Home on May 19, 2016. Rodney was born in Johnstown, PA on Sept 22, 1948 and moved to this area in 1978 from Clearwater. He served our country in the U.S. Navy, was a member of the V.F.W. in Pennsylvania, and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Inverness
He is survived by his wife, Janette (Buzo) Kaufman; 5 children, Jimmy Jay (Amy) Buzo, Tampa; Rhonnda Kaufman, Spring Hill, FL; Shonna (Michael) White, Beaufort, SC; Josephine (John) Moskes, Homosassa; Jocelyn (Hugh) Campbell, Tampa; 9 grandchildren, Lauryn, Ashley, Gabrielle, Nicholas, Constantine, Markella, Alexandra, Alexander, and Jaylynn; 1 great-grandchild, Zynndeyah.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 24th at 12:30 PM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Dairold Rushing officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family will be appreciated.
