Godfrey M Gibbons

Godfrey M. Gibbons, age 72, died July 26, 2015. Godfrey was born on May 1, 1943 in New York City to the late Louis and Frances (Dixon) Gibbons Hunter. He was a commercial bus driver and an avid fan of transportation systems, especially trains and buses. A loving man devoted to his family, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory is his brother William Hunter, Jr. (Tracy) Fishkill, NY; his sister Louise Gibbons-Blocker, Jamaica, NY; special friends Cathy and Orelio (Papo) Alfonso and James King; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Freddie Phillip Blocker, niece Dawn Miller, nephew Tracy Blocker and great nieces Jasper Beth Harris and Thyais Blocker. Private arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
