Linda Bishop, age 67, Ocala, went to be with her Lord on April 20, 2015 at Munroe Regional Medical Center. Linda was born on August 2, 1947 in Akron, OH to the late Harry V. and Bessie (Reynolds) King. A devout Christian woman, she served in church administration, along with her husband, who ministered to five different churches before his retirement for Assembly of God. Linda was very active in the social events of the churches and enjoyed sharing her knowledge of the Bible with others. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a special friend to her church family members. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 46 years, Bruce Bishop, Ocala; her son Jeff Bishop, Inverness; daughter Sara (Eddie) Edgette, Summertown, TN; her sister Jackie (Bill) Garmier, Hartville, OH; grandchildren Emerald, Samantha, Eddie, Jr. and Vaida and her first great-grandbaby on the way. She was preceded in death by a daughter Amy Bishop and her brother Gene King. A Funeral Service of Remembrance and celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Linda’s memory to worldchallenge.org.
