Edward Lee “Ed” Grimm, age 85, Inverness, died April 10, 2015 at his residence. Ed was born on November 24, 1929 in Huntington, WV to the late Everett and Inez (Chapman) Grimm. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Ed was employed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons as an electrical maintenance supervisor in Summitt, KY. He was also a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Ed is survived by his daughter, Linda and her husband Wendall Sargent of LaGrange, KY, two grandchildren, Daniel (Samantha) Sargent of Floyd’s Knobs, Indiana, and Laura (Steven) Henning, also of LaGrange, Ky., one brother, Barry Keith (Janice) Grimm, of Flatwoods, KY; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Delilah, Dorothy and Ed Riley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, a brother Mike Grimm and sister Doris Bennett. A graveside committal service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory, Inverness.
