ARTHUR “ART” FRANCIS TAJE, age 72, Citrus Springs, went to be with his Lord on April 2, 2015 at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center. Art was born on March 10, 1943 in Revere, MA. Throughout his lifetime, he was the owner/operator of Hair Biz Stylist, Inc for over 20 years and also worked for BiRite Beauty Supplies and ABC Liquors in management positions. Art was active in the Knights of Columbus in Massachusetts and was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodges. He was an accomplished golfer who won first place with his son, Rick, the last two years of the Elks Charity Tournament held in Sebring, FL. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather “Papa”, he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 24 years, Dee Taje; his children Ed (Cheri) Taje, Taunton, MA, Georgia Taje, Sebastian, FL, Rick Taje, Citrus Springs, FL, Lisa Jackson, South Easton, MA and Kristi (Kurt) Dunbar, Tampa, FL; his brother Richard (Demi) Taje, Cape Coral, FL; grandchildren Brittany, Jared, Dennis, Gabrielle, Carmela, Steven, Ashley, Toni, Lauren, Matt and Kylie and one great-granddaughter Bella. He was preceded in death by a son Chris Taje and his sister Carol Collins. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. Entombment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens in Beverly Hills. The family invites friends to join them in visitation from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service.
