PAULINE A. KENDIG, age 91, Inverness, died October 31, 2014 under the care of Suncoast Hospice at Rosewood House ALF in Dunedin. Pauline was born on July 21, 1923 in Clarksfield, OH to the late Lester and Beula (Collins) Coon. Pauline was the church secretary for many years for United Methodist Church in Tarpon Springs. A talented seamstress, she enjoyed sewing clothing, making dolls and doll clothes and decorating her home as well as working with needlepoint and crocheting. Pauline and her husband Harlow traveled all throughout the continental United States and Alaska. They were also avid square dancers. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Harlow E. Kendig, Jr. and his wife Henrietta, Brooksville, FL and Michael A. Kendig, Palm Harbor, FL; her sister Ruth Bauer, Crystal Beach, FL; granddaughters Julie, Jennifer, Kristy and Kate and great grandchildren Kyle, Kevin, Aaron, Hannah, Jackson, Jenna, Charlotte, Maya as well as other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Harlow E. Kendig. A graveside committal service for Harlow and Pauline will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery with military honors. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
